Perrin praise for battling Lyon

Football News
Lyon coach Alain Perrin believed his team fully deserved to come out of a hard-fought Rhone-Alps derby against St Etienne with a point.

Les Gones left it late, in-form striker Karim Benzema curling home an exquisite injury-time free-kick to tie the score at 1-1.

"Sometimes, you have to be happy with a point - you can´t choose a time to score. In my opinion, Lyon deserved a draw having seen what we did in the second half," Perrin said.
