Perrin seeks end to away-day blues

Lyon coach Alain Perrin believes the Phone-Alps derby against St Etienne gives his side the perfect chance to redress their worrying recent away form.

Les Gones have lost two and drawn one of their past three away games in Ligue 1, while they lost at Le Mans in the Coupe de la Ligue a week and a half ago.

With second-placed Bordeaux coming up on the rails just three points behind, Perrin knows form on the road could be decisive, saying: "We must back up our win against Lorient last week. We have to take points away from home - it is what Bordeaux have just done - although this is a special context this weekend."
