Munua avoids prison term

Football News
Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Gustavo Munua has been handed a six-month prison sentence for his training ground attack on team-mate Dudu Aouate, although he will not have to serve it.

Israel international Dudu needed eight stitches in a face wound after being punched by fellow goalkeeper Munua in the changing room following a training session earlier this month.

On Wednesday a La Coruna judge found Munua guilty of aggression and sentenced him to six months in prison but the Uruguay international will not have to serve that due to the fact he has no previous offences and instead he must pay a 3,600 euro fine.
