Henry keeps Barca in touch

Thierry Henry´s first-half header gave Barcelona a narrow 1-0 win over Racing Santander as Lionel Messi returned to action at the Nou Camp on Sunday evening.

Henry nodded home on the half-hour mark to keep the Catalans seven points behind bitter rivals Real Madrid - who earlier beat Atletico Madrid in the capital´s derby match - in the race for the championship.

Messi was widely expected to return to the Barcelona line-up following five weeks on the sidelines, but the Argentina winger started on the bench. With Ronaldinho injured and Samuel Eto´o in Ghana for the African Cup of Nations, it was therefore a new-look strikeforce for Frank Rijkaard´s side.
