Holland coach Marco van Basten has revealed he may be interested in taking over at Hamburg in the summer.

Van Basten will step down from his current post after Euro 2008 and, with Hamburg coach Huub Stevens leaving for PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season, the Bundesliga side are on the lookout for a new boss.

And the former AC Milan striker admits the top job at the AOL Arena does appeal, telling the Bild am Sonntag newspaper: "HSV is an interesting club, a European club with potential and prospects. There are good people working there. But I cannot talk about things which lie in the future."
