Leaders PSV Eindhoven were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw as they could not break down lowly 10-man VVV-Venlo.

The Eindhoven giants found themselves a goal down in the first minute thanks to Rachid Ofrany´s lob, but levelled through Balazs Dzsudzsak after 12 minutes.

Eight minutes later Peter Reekers was given his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card, but VVV defended stoutly to ensure they claimed a point.
