Mario Balotelli recently left Liverpool to join AC Milan on a season long loan deal and some of his antics at the club have come to light since his departure.

The Italian forward endured a torrid 12 months on Merseyside and will not be missed by anyone at the Anfield club, and some of his behaviour while at the club was completely shocking.

It was already known that Balotelli skipped a training session in order to buy a new iPhone six and now it has been revealed the former Manchester City forward did not even know who his team-mate was.

The Liverpool Echo have been revealing some of Balotelli's most peculiar moments in his time at Liverpool.

According to the publication, the 25-year-old did not know who Joe Allen was on a team bonding session, despite sharing a dressing room with the Welsh midfielder for a number of months.

Liverpool's deal for Balotelli was always going to be hit or miss given the strikers blighted history and it proved to be a resounding disappointment.

The former Inter Milan player scored four goals in 28 appearances at Anfield and soon found himself languishing on the bench.

It could be argued that he was not given enough time to prove himself to the club and Brendan Rodgers' tactics may not have suited his style of play.

But given some of the antics he got up to while at the club, the writing was on the wall from an early stage. Balotelli has claimed it is time for him to 'grow up' in Milan. We will see how that goes.

Liverpool fans, are you happy to see the back of Mario Balotelli or could he have brought something to your side this season? Have your say below!
