Is this the best way to resurrect the Diva's Revolution?

The Diva's revolution is a term that is thrown around a lot in the WWE these days, but what exactly is it?

We saw Sasha Banks and Bayley show that women's wrestling is no longer a side act at the recent Takeover Brooklyn show, but then 24 hours later, the Diva's Championship wasn't actually defended at the WWE's second biggest PPV.

What is stopping the Revolution?

The Diva's revolution all started in NXT but has recently been broadcast on RAW and Smackdown in the form of gang warfare.

Team Bella, Team B.A.D and Team PCB have been battling for several weeks now and have produced some good matches.

But the whole idea of the revolution appears to have died down with the WWE obviously determined to keep the title on Nikki Bella.

It has been said for a long time that the Bella's are holding the Diva's division back and never has there been a more obvious example of that than right now.

Not even having Bella defend her title at Summer Slam has certainly made some of the fans angry and will pretty much ensure that when she does set the record as longest reigning Diva's Champion ever, there will be an asterisk next to her name.

So it could be argued that the Revolution can't actually do anything until Bella breaks the record and actually starts to defend her title again.

But is even that enough to salvage what was an incredibly promising angle?

The solution?

While the Team B.A.D, Team Bella and Team PCB feud has had a lot of promise, would it continue to work when the title starts to be defended again?

It goes without saying that unless you're going for the Tag Team titles, working as a team isn't normally a good idea if you're chasing the title.

It surely is the best option to separate the teams and make the race for the Diva's Championship a free for all.

Introducing Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte as singles competitors would finally bring the life into the Diva's division that it is desperately missing.

Who knows what the WWE will do to keep the Diva's revolution alive, but right now it is quite obvious that they are looking to keep the focus away from the Diva's Championship.
