Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has revealed he wants to become president of the Spanish club once he retires.

The 26-year-old does not have any plans to hang up his gloves just yet, but said he would love to follow in the footsteps of former Madrid greats who went on to lead the Primera Liga side after retirement.

And Casillas also sees a future in management before he achieves his dream of holding the top job at the Bernabeu, telling Spanish radio station Onda Cero: "I want to be president of Real Madrid. When I retire I would like to continue in football, first as a coach of the youth teams and then if God wants, to be like (Jose) Camacho, (Vincente) Del Bosque, or (Javier) Irureta."
