Manchester United may not sign any more players before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday, but Victor Valdes and Jonny Evans are both expected to leave Old Trafford.
The Daily Mail claim there is a “growing belief” at Old Trafford that the departures of the two out-of-favour Manchester United players will be the only two concluded transfer deals before the window shuts next week.

The report adds that United are unlikely to sign either Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller or Southampton winger Sadio Mane as their respective clubs have no desire to sell, while Gareth Bale is set to stay at Real Madrid as he bids to silence his critics at the Bernabeu.
David de Gea is still determined to secure a move to Real Madrid before the transfer window closes, but the Daily Mail say Manchester United’s stance remains the same: they will not sell the Spain international for a lower fee than their asking price.

But if Manchester United receive a bid worth £30 million next week, as reported by the Mirror, they really ought to sell the Spaniard who is unhappy and has 10 months left to run on his current contract.
The hat-trick Wayne Rooney scored against Club Brugge in mid-week may have been enough to convince Van Gaal that spending big money on another striker is unnecessary.
The United boss also has Javier Hernandez and James Wilson at his disposal, while Marouane Fellaini could also be used as a number nine in certain matches.
Daley Blind, meanwhile, has shown over recent weeks that he is capable of playing at centre-back if required.
