Former Germany boss Berti Vogts has tipped new Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann to lead the Bavarians to repeated Champions League glory in the coming years.

Klinsmann, who guided Germany to a third-place finish at the 2006 World Cup, was on Friday named the successor to current Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, who will leave the club at the end of the season.

"Bayern Munich will win the Champions League in both the next two years," Vogts told the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung newspaper. "He will continue the work he started with the DFB (German Football Association)."
