AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has revealed his former club Ajax are interested a deal to bring the player back to his homeland.

Seedorf has enjoyed huge success since joining Milan in 2002, but admitted this week that a chance meeting with Ajax chairman John Jakke in Dubai had raised the possibility of his return to Amsterdam. However, the veteran playmaker insists that, for now, his future remains in Italy.

Seedorf told Voetbal International magazine: "It is very nice Ajax want me back. That means they have fond memories about me and that is something I have too. I have tied myself to AC Milan until 2011 and still feel great here, but I never say never."
