Arsenal will face Bayern Munich for the third time in three years as they face the German Champions in the group stage of this seasons Champions League.
The Gunners lost 3-1 over two legs in the last 16 when the two teams met in the spring of 2014 and lost on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw the year prior at the same stage.
The FA Cup holders also were drawn against Olympiakos for the first time since their group stage meeting in 2012 – Arsenal won 3-1 at home and 2-1 in Greece and for the first time since the 2006/07 Champions League Dinamo Zagreb.
Arsenal beat the Croatian team 5-1 on aggregate in the final qualifying round, winning 3-0 away in the first leg and 2-1 at home.
Manchester United were handed a favourable draw on their return to Europe and will face PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow and Wolfsburg for the right to make it to the last 16 and the knockout stages.
Chelsea meanwhile will also be happy with their group having drawn Porto, Dynamo Kiev and Maccabi Tel-Aviv, while Manchester City had a less than favourable lot having been pulled out against Juventus, Sevilla and Borussia Moenchengladbach.
