Adnan Januzaj in advanced talks over loan move to Borussia Dortmund

Despite starting four games for Manchester United this season it appears Adnan Januzaj has failed to impress manager Louis van Gaal.

The Belgian midfielder was handed a surprise start against Aston Villa and repaid his manager with the winning goal and has started three more games, but has failed to complete a full 90 minutes.

The 20-year-old missed the 2-1 defeat to Swansea with an injury and, according to Sky Sports, Januzaj is now in advanced talks over a loan move to German side Borussia Dortmund.

Van Gaal is reportedly happy to see the young star temporarily depart Old Trafford with the view of coming back next season.

There has also been reported interest from Tottenham Hostpur, Valencia and Marseille but it appears the 2012 Bundesliga champions have stolen a march on other interested teams.

Manchester United fell to their first defeat of the season at Swansea and have gone about addressing their striking problems before the window closes on September 1.

They have reportedly lodged a €50 million bid for AS Monaco forward Anthony Martial and odds have been slashed on Charlie Austin joining the club.

The Red Devils have a number of players who can occupy the position behind Wayne Rooney and may even play Rooney in the number ten role should they sign a new forward.

With Januzaj failing to nail down his place in the starting line-up during the opening games of the season it may be a good move for all involved if the Belgian international goes away to gain more first-team experience.

Manchester United fans, should Adnan Januzaj be loaned out or kept at Old Trafford? Have your say below!
