Theo Griezmann, the brother of Atletico Madrid star Antoine, has posted another Manchester United-related post on Twitter.

This time the younger Griezmann, a fan of the Red Devils, was celebrating the fact goalkeeper David de Gea is set to stay at Manchester United after his move to Real Madrid collapsed late on Monday night.

Theo posted a picture of United boss Louis van Gaal smiling, alongside the caption: “#DeGea #Wouhouuuu 🎉🎉🎉”

His replies were flooded by Manchester United fans asking Theo to convince his older sibling to sign for the Red Devils before the transfer window closes in England at 6pm on Tuesday.

United have a chance to sign Griezmann from Atletico Madrid today - but only if they agree to pay the France international’s reported £46.1 million release clause.

However, Griezmann is happy playing under Diego Simeone at the Vicente Calderon, where he scored 25 goals in 54 appearances for Atleti last term.

This isn’t the first time this summer that Theo Griezmann has got Manchester United fans excited with his social media activity.

Last month he posted a series of tweets expressing his love for the Red Devils, fuelling speculation that his brother could be on his way to Old Trafford.

Griezmann's cryptic tweet

Antoine, meanwhile, set tongues wagging on Monday by posting a cryptic tweet about something being revealed or possibly announced on Tuesday.

There’s still enough time for Manchester United to make a late move for Griezmann, but it seems more likely that the Frenchman will still be an Atletico Madrid player come 6:01pm this evening.
