Nurnberg expect to find out before the weekend whether French outfit Monaco will lower their asking price for Czech Republic striker Jan Koller.

The Bavarians have reached an agreement with the player but are not willing to match the Ligue 1 club´s reported two million euros asking price.

"Either they drop the price, or the transfer fails," Nurnberg director of sport Martin Bader told Bild newspaper after the Bundesliga strugglers set a deadline of this weekend for Monaco to accept their offer.
