Football News
AZ Alkmaar coach Louis van Gaal has called for all Eredivisie clubs to install undersoil heating to prevent the kind of fixture congestion which is facing his side in January.

AZ´s match against De Graafschap on Boxing Day was postponed because of a frozen pitch, meaning Van Gaal´s men must play six matches in 17 days when the league resumes following a short winter break.

"This (schedule) really is unbelievable," said Van Gaal after Sunday´s 1-0 defeat of Heracles Almelo. "If you agree such a busy schedule then you need to force the clubs to bring in undersoil heating systems."
