Injury blows for Willem II

Willem II interim coach Andries Jonker has been hit by the news that captain Delano Hill and striker Cristiano are set for spells on the sidelines.

Cristiano picked up an injury to his right knee during training on Christmas Day and test by club doctors have revealed tendon damage which is likely to keep him out for two months.

Hill was withdrawn from Thursday´s defeat to Heracles Almelo with whiplash after just five minutes and is expected to be out for up to six weeks.
