Manchester United have announced the signing of talented French youngster Anthony Martial from Monaco.
The 19-year-old, who has gone from strength-to-strength in Ligue 1 in recent time, has signed a four-year deal with the Red Devils with the option to extend by a further year.
It appears, then, according to The Guardian, that the Red Devils have spent as much as £36 million on the forward, with Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal 'delighted' with the deal.

The United boss, as reported by the club's official site, stated: "Anthony is a naturally talented, young, multi-functional forward with great potential. We have been watching him for a while now and he has developed immensely during his time at AS Monaco.
"I am delighted he has joined Manchester United as I believe this is the right club for him to continue his development as a young player. He has all the attributes to become a top football player; however we need to give him time to adjust to his new environment and the rhythm of the Premier League."
Martial speaks out
Martial, too, has spoken, claiming that he's excited to be joining the Red Devils and has hailed his new club as the best in the world.
The Frenchman stated: "I am so excited to be joining Manchester United. I have enjoyed my time at AS Monaco and I would like to thank them and the fans for everything they have done for me.
"I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and to join the biggest club in the world is what every young footballer dreams of. I am looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working with Louis van Gaal who has achieved so much in his career."
There's no doubt about it, the settling in process for Martial isn't going to be easy, as fans will be hoping their new signing hits the ground running right away, but he must be ready to prove his credentials in Manchester.
Ultimately, despite only being 19-years of age, there will be a great deal of pressure on the forward to perform after the Red Devils paid so much to bring him to Old Trafford.
One thing's for sure, it's certainly an exciting gamble for the club, who now have a number of young, talented players at their disposal.
