With SummerSlam now in the books, all of the focus turns to the Night of Champions pay-per-view where all of the championship titles will be defended.

Yes, even Nikki Bella will be defending the Divas Championship.

The event takes place on September 20 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and so far three matches have been announced.

There was a lot of hype heading into Monday Night Raw this week. One member of Team PCB was going to head into Night of Champions as the number one contender to Nikki’s Divas Championship.

It was the very first divas beat the clock challenge. Fans were questioning why somebody like Sasha Banks wasn’t involved but the victory at SummerSlam meant Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Paige would be receiving the opportunity.

Lynch set the pace in her match with Alicia Fox. Making her submit with the Disarm-Her in three minutes and 21 seconds.

Charlotte comfortably beat that, hitting the Natural Selection on Brie Bella with a time of one minute and 41 seconds.

Paige was unsuccessful in her attempts. Her match with Sasha Banks went over the time limit and it ended a no contest.

This means Nikki Bella will be defending her title against Charlotte.

By the time Night of Champions comes around, Nikki will have already broken AJ Lee’s record of being the longest reigning Divas Champion in history.

Now the WWE have a decision. Do they allow Nikki to continue with the title and set an even bigger record?

Or does Charlotte dethrone Nikki to become the new champion? Something that was rumoured to take place the night she debuted, but didn’t happen.

With every championship title set to be on the line, this means Seth Rollins will be pulling double duty at Night of Champions.

If there’s anyone on the roster who can put on two fantastic matches, your top pick would be Rollins.

In the main event, Rollins will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against The Vigilante, Sting.

Sting made it clear this week that Rollins wasn’t half the man Triple H was; and hints were definitely dropped at a potential Triple H and Rollins clash in the near future.

If the Sting problem wasn’t enough for Rollins, then it only gets worse for him as he will defend his United States Championship against John Cena.

Rollins called out Sting, instead he got Cena who wanted to invoke his rematch clause, and it was Stephanie McMahon who granted him the rematch much to Rollins’ frustration.

Can Rollins keep hold of both championships? It won’t be a huge surprise to see him walk out of Houston with the titles still intact.

Some fans may also be calling for Sting to capture his first title in the WWE.

With three championship matches confirmed, there are still two championship titles that need to be defended.

Ryback picked up a win over The Big Show on Monday Night Raw this week, and there’s a chance the two will clash again at Night of Champions.

The Miz was also involved in the outcome, so don’t be surprised to see a SummerSlam rematch between the three of them.

The New Day will also be expected to defend their Tag Team Championships at the event.

The Prime Time Players are entitled to their rematch, whereas The Dudley Boyz also made their return last week and have made it clear they’re going for their tenth WWE Tag Team Championships.

We should expect to see The Dudley Boyz taking on The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
