Substitute James Vaughan made sure Everton finished the group stages of the UEFA Cup with a 100% record with a 3-2 win over AZ Alkmaar.

The 19-year-old striker scored the winner with 10 minutes remaining after being set up by Victor Anichebe.

It brought to an end AZ´s proud unbeaten home record in Europe stretching over 32 matches with Andrew Johnson and Phil Jagielka also on target.
