Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has insisted that he must improve in front of goal if he's going to claim the Ballon d'Or from Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
As reported by the London Evening Standard, Ozil believes he has to become more 'egotistical' as he goes in search of improvement in north London under the guidance of Arsene Wenger.
Ozil, of course, endured a tricky campaign at the Emirates last time round, failing to maintain his fitness throughout the course of the season, however he's seemingly intent on proving his credentials sooner rather than later.

When asked about winning the Ballon d'Or, Ozil stated: "I have to become more dangerous in front of the goal.
"I was injured for long spells last season, and scored only five in 32 competitive games. I want to improve this. To achieve it, I have to be a bit more egotistical.
And, after securing back-to-back FA Cup triumphs, the German international appears to be determined to secure success on both the club and international scene over the course of the next year.
He continued by saying: "You need to win major titles with both club and country. In 2016, the chances are there to do just that. We've got a great team at Arsenal, which can win titles.
"After two FA Cup victories in the past two years, we want to be in the mix for the Premier League title. We also need to beat the knockout stages curse in Champions League.
"The group stage clashes with Bayern Munich are a real benchmark test. And I want to win the European Championships with Germany."
It's not happening, but it's a huge season
Let's be honest, there's no way Ozil is going to be able to overhaul the likes of Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the world's best player, but he certainly has the ability to prove his credentials in England this season.
There were certainly a number of promising signs from Ozil in 2014/15, but he must now prove his consistency week in, week out for the Gunners.
