Pierre Dreossi has stepped down as coach of Rennes, according to L´Equipe.

Dreossi will remain at the club as general manager, a role he held before adding the coaching duties following the departure of Laszlo Boloni to Monaco in 2006.

L´Equipe reports that Dreossi handed in his resignation as coach to club president Frederic de Saint-Sernin at the end of Saturday´s 2-1 defeat to Caen, and that it was accepted.
