Frontzeck unveiled as Bielefeld boss

Michael Frontzeck has been confirmed as the new coach of Arminia Bielefeld.

The 43-year-old former Alemannia Aachen boss was unveiled after Bielefeld´s 2-0 win over German champions Stuttgart, a game in which Detlev Dammeier acted as caretaker boss following the sacking of Ernst Middendorp.

Frontzeck has signed a contract until 2009 and senior director Roland Kentsch is delighted to get his man, saying on the club website "We are delighted to be working together and we hope for a long and successful union."
