Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard will face no further action despite having been detained at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Friday, after a handgun was found in his luggage. According to reports the NBA star was stopped at Terminal E at 7am, with officials discovering a pistol at the bottom of a bag he intended to carry onboard. After initially being refused access to the plane the matter was eventually sorted though. The Houston District Attorney’s office declined to press criminal charges and he was later allowed to board a different flight. Over to the NFL and Washington Redskins wide-receiver Pierre Garcon has hailed the abilities of new addition Kirk Cousins. Cousins is set to be the Redskins new starting quarterback, and his teammate hailed his leadership skills, describing him as a very enthusiastic guy. RG3 is still with the team, so the drama is far from over on that front, but it appears Cousins already has supporters within the Washington fold.
