England cricket captain Eoin Morgan has confirmed his belief that his side will have to be approaching their very best if they are to emerge victorious against Australia in the upcoming ODI series. A win would cap off a fine Ashes summer for England, but Morgan said victory would be very tough to achieve. “It'd be great. I think it's going to be very tough,” Morgan said, as per the Daily Mail. “Certainly, we'll need to be close to our best to beat them. “As when we played against New Zealand, we'll need to find a way of trying to put them under pressure.” Meanwhile in tennis, Novak Djokovic has continued his strong start in the US Open with a straight sets win over Andreas Haider-Maurer. The World No.1 was comfortable in qualifying for the competitions third round, beating his opponent by scores of 6-4, 6-1, 6-2. Kell Brook has announced his next fight will be on October 24 against Argentine fighter Diego Chaves.
