Marseille coach Eric Gerets believes coping with Liverpool´s fluid passing game will be the key to success in tonight´s make-or-break Champions League clash at the Stade Velodrome.

Gerets admits the Reds are favourites going into a match they have to win if they are to guarantee progression into the knockout stages and he knows one facet of Liverpool´s game will have to be dealt with if they are to be stopped.

"It will be a fast-paced match," said the Belgian. "And in my opinion, Liverpool are going to try to pass the ball around three times quicker than they did on the first match between us. That is their strength and it will be up to us to find the a way to stop that."
