Football News
Christian Vieri has declared that he will return to the Italy squad if coach Roberto Donadoni wishes.

The Fiorentina striker last played in the Azzurri colours in 2005. His disappointing performance at Euro 2004 led to media and fan criticism, and following his departure from Internazionale the following year, it seemed there would be no way back.

But the former Internazionale and AC Milan striker has now made himself available for his country again, saying: "I expect to be called up for the national team. I believe I am ready to return to the national team. For me it´s important to play and score in order to try to defend again the Azzurri colours."
