Perrin ponders Caen before the storm

Lyon have been denied permission to postpone their trip to in-form Caen on Saturday ahead of their Champions League showdown with Rangers just four days later.

The Ligue 1 leaders, who thrashed Strasbourg 5-0 on Sunday, have to win in Glasgow to secure qualification for the last 16 at the expense of the Scots.

But while Rangers have had their match against Gretna, originally scheduled for Sunday, postponed, Lyon coach Alain Perrin must decide how many first-choice players to risk against Caen.
