If you had no idea who I.K Enemkpali was before the start of the pre-season, then nobody could blame you.

The former New York Jets linebacker was an absolute nobody before he decided to punch Geno Smith square in the jaw.

From that point on, nothing was the same for Enemkpali, arguably the real star of 2015 preseason. That didn't stop him getting cut though.

I.K Cut

It's true, despite being signed by Rex Ryan after punching Smith in the face, Enemkpali has been cut by the Buffalo Bills as they trim the roster down to 53.

The news was first reported on Twitter by Aaron Wilson, who covers the NFL for the National Football Post, as well as covering the Texans for the Houston Chronicle.

The Bills' decision to release Enemkpali comes after he played in all four preseason games as a second-team defensive end. He finished the preseason with 11 tackles.

The NFL said last month that it was still reviewing Enemkpali's altercation with Smith for possible discipline, which is fair seeing as I.K broke the man's jaw.
