Xavi rues dropped points

Football News
Barcelona midfielder Xavi felt his side let two valuable points slip through their grasp after being held to a 1-1 draw by local rivals Espanyol on Saturday.

Barca have now won just one of their seven away games this season, and fell four points adrift of leaders Real Madrid following the draw, but Xavi believes it should not have been that way.

Frank Rijkaard´s men got the ideal start through Andres Iniesta´s sixth-minute opener and Xavi thinks they should have put the game beyond Espanyol´s reach before the home side drew level through Ferran Corominas midway through the second half.
