Sevilla slipped to a third successive Primera Liga defeat of the season when they lost 1-0 to Andalusian rivals Almeria on Saturday.

The double UEFA Cup holders lost out to an 86th minute goal from Peru defender Santiago Acasiete after Dani Alves was sent off for the second time in a row.

Sevilla lost four games on the trot earlier on in the campaign under previous boss Juande Ramos, who left to join Tottenham Hotspur last month.
