Didier Drogba gave Montreal Impact fans even more reason for excitement following his move from Chelsea earlier this summer, after his first start in the MLS.

The Chelsea legend was on hand to help his new club out with a 'perfect hat-trick' in a 4-3 win over Chicago Fire.

For those who are unsure what the perfect hat-trick, it's a goal with your right foot, a goal with your left foot and a goal with your head.

Ambidextrous Double

Drogba scored the first goal of the game, impressively cushioning down a cross in the penalty area, turning the defender and leaving him for dead, and poking the ball into the bottom left hand corner with his right foot.

Opponents Chicago Fire came from 2-1 down to lead the game 3-2 before Drogba was on hand again. A quick fire free kick and some alert play from the Impact attack, saw the ball played into Drogba's feet just left of the penalty spot, and Drogba held off the opposing defender to fire a thunderous strike into the roof of the net with his left foot.

The game was deadlocked at 3-3 and it was Drogba again who stepped up to win the game. The ball was crossed in and to his disbelief he saw his impressive volley saved at almost point blank range, but the goalkeeper could do nothing to prevent Drogba storming in and finishing with his head.

The former Chelsea man has showed that he still has plenty of goals on him at the tender age of 37, and took to social media after the game saying: 'Good night Montreal @impactmontreal 😉😉😉 #backtobusiness #commitment #hardwork #goodwork'.

Nice to see the Ivorian scoring goals and enjoying his football, and still able to remain a legend in Chelsea fans' eyes.
