Marseille dismayed by Besiktas loss

There was a deep sense of injustice in the Marseille camp that left Istanbul on Thursday following their agonising 2-1 defeat to Besiktas in the Champions League.

Bobo´s 88th-minute strike earned the Turks a scarcely deserved victory that keeps them in the hunt for qualification out of Group A and means OM have to beat in-form Liverpool in a fortnight´s time to guarantee progression into the knockout stages.

"There were reasons to be satisfied," admitted coach Eric Gerets. "Not about everything, because we weren´t prepared tactically in the first half."
