Aguirre calls for maturity

Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre is looking for his players to show a change of attitude in Thursday´s UEFA Cup clash against Aberdeen.

Atletico have only played one UEFA Cup game in the group stage, a thrilling 3-3 draw away to Lokomotiv Moscow and a match that was a reflection of Atletico´s season to date. Aguirre´s men have been scoring goals with ease but suffering in defence all campaign.

"We have to be able to manage the time in matches. That is what we have been lacking. We can´t afford to allow the points to escape from us at home. I hope we play a good game of football, but the most important thing is the final result," Aguirre insisted.
