Football News

The WWE has had a terrible time with injuries over the past year or so, and it doesn't look like it will be getting any better.

We reported over the weekend that John Cena looked like he suffered a neck or head injury during a match against Kevin Owens at a WWE Live Event. Cena turned out to be fine, but he wasn't the only wrestling working injured at the event.

According to several reports from sites and fans in attendance, Cesaro was also in action while suffering from an injury.

Rib Injury

Cesaro had his ribs taped up for his match against The Miz at the weekend WWE live event in Hampton, Virginia.

But it seems like this isn't a new injury however as they were also taped up for SmackDown when he faced Sheamus in a match.

It looks like he suffered some sort of a rib injury on Raw when Kevin Owens knocked him from the apron to the announce table.

There is a chance that he could be playing the injury up a bit, but considering that he was taped up at a live event in front of zero television cameras suggests that it may be an actual injury and not part of a storyline.

Incredible Year

Cesaro has had an incredible year in 2015, winning the tag team titles with Tyson Kidd before going on to become one of the most exciting singles stars of the year after Kidd's injury, having excellent matches with both Cena and Owens in the past few months.
