Perrin plays down Lyon prospects

Lyon coach Alain Perrin rued a missed opportunity to pile the pressure on qualification rivals Rangers after seeing his side draw 2-2 with Barcelona in Champions League Group E.

Former Brazil midfielder Juninho rammed home a penalty with 10 minutes remaining to earn Les Gones a point against Barca at the Stade Gerland on Tuesday - and the draw puts the French champions level on seven points with Rangers, who lost 3-2 in Stuttgart.

The Scots host Lyon on matchday six in a fortnight´s time, knowing a draw will be enough to progress on the back of their 3-0 away win over the Frenchmen in October, but Perrin said: "We wanted to be in a position to play this ´final´. But I´m not too happy with the way it is panning out."
