With John Cena having seemingly escaped a scary looking incident over the weekend without serious injury, you may have been forgiven for thinking the WWE had finally broken free from the 2015 injury curse.
Unfortunately, that is not the case after the WWE themselves confirmed that yet another star of the main roster is facing months out of action.
WWE Diva Lana is the unfortunate casualty this time around with news breaking today that a fractured wrist - and likely operation - will keep the loud-mouthed Russian character, real name CJ Perry, out of action for four months.

After rumors spread that Lana had suffered an injury while performing in a live event on Sunday the WWE, via ringside physician Dr. Scott Amann, have now revealed the situation:
"During a training session (Sunday) afternoon, Lana had sustained an injury in the ring. We attended to her and noticed that she had a deformity of her wrist," Dr. Amann explained on WWE.com.
"We obtained X-rays which showed a Colles' fracture and (we put her) in a splint. Most of these Colles' fractures do better surgically than non-surgically, especially in younger patients. Most likely this will require an operation which will take her out of active competition for approximately four months."
Lana has been in the WWE since 2013 but has been limited to a vocal role outside the ring as manager of, first Rusev, and now Dolph Ziggler. More recently though she has been working towards an in-ring wrestling debut as a feud with Summer Rae intensifies.
This then is clearly a major setback, both for Lana herself and the WWE Creative team. The female star took to Twitter to give her fans a personal take on the situation:
At this stage it looks like the injury is legitimate rather that a storyline issue.
