Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster rued his side´s inability to finish off Real Murcia on Saturday night, but conceded a 1-1 draw was probably a fair reflection of the game.

Primera Liga leaders Real were on course to record their 10th win in 13 matches this season when Robinho gave them a ninth-minute lead with his fifth league goal of the campaign, but Enrique De Lucas´ equaliser just after half-time levelled the score for mid-table Murcia.

Schuster said: "There´s no need to look for any excuses. We had the match in hand in the first half but let it slip away. Murcia always looked for an equaliser, and the result is a fair one."
