Pedro's 'strange' admission

Pedro Rodriguez appears to have settled in well at Chelsea, but the Spaniard is the first to admit that he feels ‘strange’ now playing without the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta.

"Imagine on the pitch, after so much time and not being able to find Messi, Alba, Andres or Busquets - it was strange," he said, as per the Daily Mirror.

The La Masia academy graduate was one of the best buys of the summer when Jose Mourinho lured him from Barcelona, but since he spent over 10 years with the La Liga champions - youth career included - he’s certainly got some adjusting to do with regards to life in England.

Terry and Piers Morgan

Meanwhile John Terry responded to Piers Morgan’s comical approach to have him join Arsenal by stating that he’d rather be thrown under a bus by Mourinho.

As most fans will have expected the centre-back has no intention of following Petr Cech to the Emirates Stadium, not that Arsene Wenger really wanted him anyway mind.

That said he will have a difficult task convincing some fans that he’s still the right man to command the back-line. Terry has endured a tough start to the season, not helped by being sent off against West Brom.

Luis and Costa

Lastly, Filipe Luis has claimed that he never stopped thinking about Atletico Madrid, and neither, interestingly, did Diego Costa.

Luis completed a career u-turn this summer when he swapped Chelsea for the Vicente Calderon just a year after moving the other way. He said that he and one of the teammates he moved from Spain with - Costa - never stopped loving Atletico.
