The New Orleans Saints go in to the 2015 NFL season after a period of turnover in the franchise.

Turnover and Change

The Saints lost Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks in a trade and have struggled to replace him, with Josh Hill and Benjamin Watson doing their best to try and replicate the output of the All-Pro tight end Graham.

Things got better on defense however, with Brandon Browner coming in to give a huge boost to the secondary, while Cameron Jordan signed a massive new contract to stay in New Orleans. But Jordan has now gotten himself into a bit of trouble.

Nightclub Incident

According to a report from Katie Moore of WWL-TV in New Orleans, the Saints defensive end Jordan is under investigation by the police.

The investigation is in connection to an incident at a nightclub last weekend, in which Jordan allegedly exchanged words with a woman, smacked her on the behind and was then confronted by the woman's boyfriend in the bathroom.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune obtained a statement from New Orleans Police Department communications director Tyler Gamble which confirmed there was an altercation.

“Detectives are reviewing surveillance video and the investigation is ongoing,” Gamble said. “No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made at this point.”

This is exactly the opposite thing the Saints would have wanted to happen with the start of the season just days away. They just gave the defensive lineman a $60million contract and maybe they're regretting it right about now.
