Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has hit out at shareholders following their criticism of the atmosphere at the Allianz Arena.

The club left the Munich Olympic Stadium and moved to the purpose-built modern stadium in 2005.

Referring to a comment by a shareholder who claimed the atmosphere was better at games involving 1860 Munich with whom Bayern share the stadium, Hoeness said: "Who do you think you are for criticising us when we work our socks off to create this stadium? You are the ones responsible for putting the atmosphere inside the stadium."
