The Chicago Bears have undergone some big changes in the off-season.

Heading in to the 2015 NFL campaign, the Bears have the former Broncos duo of John Fox and Adam Gase in as their new head coach and offensive coordinator, respectively, which is a big step up from Marc Trestman.

But things aren't all sunshine and roses in the Windy City, with rumors swirling about the future of star running back Matt Forte.

Furious Forte

Just days before the 2015 NFL season opener, Bears stud Forte didn’t hold back when expressing his dissatisfaction and anger at not receiving a new contract yet.

Forte is entering his 8th season in Chicago and is one of the Bears' most prolific offensive players ever. But the halfback still doesn't have a new deal and seemed very disappointed with the Bears decision not to reward him.

"It’s just kind of discouraging as a player," Forte said, according to NBC Chicago. "You know, I’ve been here 7 years – going on 8 – and [I’ve] been producing at a constant level, year after year."

Leaving The Bears

Forte went on to add that he felt he definitely deserved a new contract and that he is seriously considering that this might be his last year in Chicago.

"...I’ve come to the realization that this might be my last year here, so I’m gonna make it the best year I can possibly make it. So if I’m a free agent at the end of the year I might have to go somewhere else. If it comes down to that," he said.

If Forte were to leave Chicago then it would be something that fans would kill the front office for letting happen. We'll have to wait and see how this all plays out.
