Laudrup delighted with turnaround

The upcoming international break will give buoyant Getafe coach Michael Laudrup the perfect chance to reflect on how quickly things can change in football.

Laudrup led the club to just one win in his opening nine competitive matches, six of which ended in defeat, but last month´s 2-0 victory over Real Murcia has sparked a remarkable reversal of fortunes that has now seen the Madrid-based club win five of their last six games.

That latest of those wins saw them down Barcelona 2-0 on Saturday, and Laudrup said: "To win a game at this moment gives you a lot of morale, as does beating Barcelona in this manner - with a deserved victory."
