Football News

Daniel Bryan has been out of the WWE for some time after his second long-term injury suffered in less than a year.

After a long spell on the sidelines following shoulder surgery, Bryan has been kept out and refused to be cleared by WWE doctors after suffering several concussions in a short period of time.

And it seems in that time off, Bryan has been doing some thinking, and has decided that he would love to see John Cena finally turn heel.

Cena the Heel

Bryan is in Dubai to promote the upcoming release of WWE 2K16 and was interviewed by Myles of 104.4 Virgin Radio Dubai. During the interview he talked about CM Punk, Kurt Angle, WrestleMania 32 and a whole lot more, but his comments about Cena definitely caught the eye.

According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Bryan said that he wished John Cena was a heel and said that he would love it if the "Hustle, Loyalty and Respect" advocate would turn his back on those principles.

Bryan pointed out Hulk Hogan's heel turn in 1996 and how it basically completely changed wrestling. He noted that heels do get cheered a lot now, so it's hard to tell.

New Day Love

Bryan went on to talk about the New Day, expressing how much he is loving what they are doing in the tag team division.

Bryan said he liked the group as heels, but at the same time, he can't help but love them and cheer for them because they're so much fun to watch.

He said that he pretty much loves everything that the New Day is doing and said that they are putting out some "amazingly entertaining stuff" right now.
