Iversen double downs Valencia

Football News
Ronald Koeman´s Valencia career got off to a dismal start on Tuesday after visiting Rosenborg stunned his new charges 2-0 in their Champions League Group B clash at the Mestalla.

After their victory over the Primera Liga outfit in Norway last time out, Rosenborg might have expected a backlash in the return fixture with Koeman now at the helm in place of the sacked Quique Sanchez Flores.

But a Steffen Iversen brace - his first Champions League goals in 11 years - put paid to any hopes that Valencia fans may have had of making a flying start under Koeman.
