Two goals apiece from Sergej Barbarez and Theofanis Gekas helped Bayer Leverkusen thump Arminia Bielefeld 4-0 and end their four-game winless streak on Saturday afternoon.

Bayer were in front early on through Barbarez and two goals from Gekas inside the space of six minutes before half-time put them in control, before Barbarez wrapped things up late on.

The result moved Bayer up to sixth, while Arminia´s woes continued as they extended their winless run to seven games.
