Chelsea dealt terrible blow as key star could miss four months

Published 1 Comments

Just when it looked as though the international break hadn’t caused any problems for Chelsea, new fears have been established. Reports today claim that Thibaut Courtois might be out injured for as long as four months, with his knee problem far more serious than first anticipated. It might a glass half full sort of situation, but Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo are stating that he won’t play again in 2015. That’s contradicted in the British press, with the Mail relaying he’ll miss the next two months of action and The Sun saying he might be back by next month. It’s one big Belgian mess, and we don’t really have a clear verdict regarding the timeframe. What we do know is that Everton boss Roberto Martinez has accused Chelsea of breaking transfer rules in their pursuit of John Stones. Jose Mourinho tried and failed to sign the England international last month, and Martinez is less than happy with his conduct.
