Getafe coach Michael Laudrup is grateful for the patience shown by president Angel Torres following the team´s poor start to the season, admitting that not all clubs would have shown the same tolerance.

Laudrup was this weekend finally able to celebrate his first league win since taking charge of the Madrid-based club in the summer after watching his men down Real Murcia 2-0.

Although Getafe have not actually been performing that badly this season, results have been going against them and the win over Murcia will help relieve some of the pressure on both the team and Laudrup, who said: "If we had been playing badly and without the style that the club and I want, I would have been sacked.
