Lee McCulloch has revealed how he feared his dream season was about to turn into a nightmare after an injury scare during last weekend´s Scotland match.

The 29-year-old initially thought he had suffered a fracture after landing awkwardly early in the second half of the Euro 2008 qualifier against Ukraine at Hampden, but thankfully the injury was not serious.

"As soon as it happened, I thought it was a break," he said, recalling the incident last Saturday. "The physio came on and asked what was up and that is what I told him."
